Most Residents of Harbourside are going to see some wonderful fireworks from their very own balconies, however, if you would like to be close-up to the sparkly displays, here a list of Fireworks and Celebrations this 4th of July 2012:
Gulfport, FL: Gulfport’s Fourth of July Celebration, Beach Blvd., 8 a.m. – Kids fishing derby at recreation center 10 a.m. – Sand sculpting contest 6 p.m. – Parade 9 p.m. – Fireworks display
Madeira Beach, FL: Madeira Beach Independent Day Fireworks, 15100 Gulf Blvd., Fireworks begin after sunset
St. Petersburg, FL: Fourth of July in St. Petersburg, St. Pete Pier, Downtown Wednesday, July 4 Full day of family-oriented activities 9 p.m. – fireworks over the Bay
St Pete Beach, FL: Beach Access Park accross from Dolphin Village, at 4700 Gulf Blvd.,Family friendly fireworks show gets underway at dusk. Grab the blanket and picnic basket and arrive before dusk to get a great spot for viewing the display, which is set off over the gulf. Swimming is allowed, however, there are no lifeguards on duty and sending the kids out into the water after dark is not advised. Beach Access Park has 235 parking spaces, so come early to take advantage.
Treasure Island, FL: All American Family July 4th Celebration in, Beach at 106th and Gulf Blvd. (Bilmar Beach Resort), 12 p.m. – 9 p.m. – Watermelon-eating contest, stand-up paddle boards, wiffle ball tournament and more. 8:45 p.m. – Fireworks More details on some of the events mentioned above can be found at
